Gajah, An elephant with no memory; Duda, a vegetarian anteater and a colony of termites that believe they have come from another planet, travel together in a steam train in this brilliantly funny animation.
The rhythm is sharp; musicality comes naturally, and at every stop there is something new to discover and a new friend to make, teaching children the wonders of travel and diversity. On their journey they find themselves on plenty of adventures, from daring rescues to cases of mistaken identity and encounters with a magical monkey.
With the help of crazy characters like favoured son Junior the “encyclopaedia termite” and wise old Master Vulture, Gajah and Duda learn many fascinating things on their travels with the termites. Always curious and eager to explore wherever the train tracks take them.
Their initial objective is to find out their origins, chasing clues about Gajah’s mysterious past and hunting down the mother ship the termite Queen thinks will take them home. But this is gradually set aside when the group finds itself faced with the possibility of discovering so many fantastic new places and adventures.
Trunk Train takes you on a fabulous journey of discovery, filled with charismatic characters, entertaining escapades and laugh out loud antics.
