Thirteen-year-old Aifric and her weird and wacky family have just moved to a new town. She wants nothing more than to fit in at her new school and quickly make friends. But she knows her quirky family will not make it easy for her. In fact they are a walking time bomb, who threaten to blow her into the oblivion of social ridicule at any moment.
The comedy drama series deals with the big issues facing all young teens – how to find your own identity, how to navigate the minefield of school life, how to fall in love, without falling on your face. It’s an affectionate look at family and school life, seen through the eyes of a character who sometimes wishes she didn’t have a family to live with, or a school to go to!
